I arranged a gig for the band Soon Come in the 1982 in the club Nuutti, Lahti. At the gig I first time met the guys of the Levitators. After that I visited a few of their rehearsals and soon I joined the group as a producer/manager.

The next summer I organized the band to the studio sessions and right after that the Levitators warmed up the legendary Linton Kwesi Johnson, in the club Lepakko, Helsinki.

I started as a musician with melodica and cowbell, then tousting around and keyboards. When Vekku moved to city of Joensuu and couldn´t join with us in rehearsals, I started to play the drums. And I also did some trumpeting at some gigs, when Renegade was with the band.
